Pew Research Reveals a Global and Alabama Decline in Christianity’s Influence

Global Religious Trends Shift

A recent study conducted by a respected research center has revealed that from 2010 to 2020, the number of Christians increased by 122 million. However, the data indicates that the growth pace for other groups has been even more pronounced. During the same period, the Muslim population expanded by 347 million, while individuals identifying with no religious affiliation grew by 270.1 million.

These findings highlight the dynamic nature of global religious demographics, suggesting that while Christianity continues to experience growth, other belief systems and secular identities are emerging at a faster rate on the world stage.
