Throughout my career, I have experienced an unexpected journey that led me from accounting roles to leadership positions at well-known companies and now into the dynamic world of fintech. In every twist—whether in the workplace or in church—God has graciously provided countless opportunities for me to serve and guide others.
Servant leadership has emerged as one of the most transformative and debated leadership approaches of the past four decades. For believers who trust in the perfection, profit, and purity of biblical truths, some teachings may appear to challenge conventional wisdom. Yet, because God’s ways transcend our own, a true leader must continually align personal perspectives with His revealed will in scripture rather than conform to human expectations.
Jesus’s example shows us that leadership is not at odds with service. By placing the needs of others above our own, we reflect a powerful paradox: we can lead effectively by serving selflessly. Here are six enlightening scriptural insights on service, surrender, and sacrifice.
